Staccatos should include optics plates

Staccato not shipping optics plates with the gun or having a voucher system is laughably ridiculous. The worst part is that they used to. I had an early C2 when they still sent the plates with the gun. Spending an extra $2500 on an optics ready gun should entail having it come with the required plate.

Let’s compare some other companies and their solutions. Springfield echelon: direct mounts most optics to slide Smith and Wesson m&p 2.0: comes with 7 plates Walther pdp: voucher system Kimber 2k11: rmr chpws optics plate included Glock MOS: comes with RMR plate Ruger Rxm: direct mounts rmr and dpp footprint optics Sig: direct mounts rmsc/dpp/pro footprint optics depending on model Bul armory: comes with either 1 or 3 optics plates OA defense 2311: comes with 4 plates Shadow Systems: direct mounts to slide Atlas: includes plate of choice

I get that staccato is a boutique pistol, but it seems like there’s a lot of companies priced above, below, and in line that have way better solutions that “well, we already sold them a $2500 gun. Let’s add on another $130 that they will need to spend so we can profit more!” Let’s not even delve into the “direct mount,” of the staglocko (hd) series pistols. We should bully staccato enough about this that they stop nickel and diming everyone after buying their guns.
