What are your thoughts on the healthcare CEO murder, from a practical/pragmatic POV?

I'll be honest - I don't have a lot of real life experiences with insurance companies, but I haven't seen a single person, either liberal or conservative, go to bat for them. I've even seen comments from those who work in the industry saying they're a bunch of vultures. So it sounds like they're pretty universally reviled.

Now, we could argue all day about whether the murder was justified, but I'm not really interested in such discussions, since there's no way to objectively quantify the answer one way or the other. What I am interested in is whether there are any other feasible options than bloodshed, if we ever hope to actually see meaningful change.

Some would say that violence is never the answer. If you happen to be in that camp, since voting doesn't appear to be doing shit, then what is the answer? At this point, what other recourse do we have? Is there a more effective solution than hurting/killing people? And would this sort of violence even be effective in the long run?

For the record, I am a 'peace and love' kind of guy at heart who would never celebrate anybody's murder, even if I had to concede that the person was better off dead than alive. I absolutely do not support the snark and sarcasm I've seen related to his death. Even if you do think it was justified, this is some serious shit.
