What to do? John Lewis refused to deliver fridge to first floor kitchen

As title says, the delivery crew (2 guys) refused to deliver the fridge I ordered to the kitchen. It's 2 flights of stairs in a house but a tight fit and heavy fridge (90kg). I noted all of that in the delivery comments when I ordered but they just refused on the day, saying they needed to be 3-4 and couldn't accept my help for insurance reasons... The guy was adamant that the fridge could fit through the staircase and if it didn't John Lewis would take it back free of charge. I just had to sort out the carrying myself. I asked him to mention that in the delivery comments and he was happy to do it (saw him do it, verified and signed).

Not sure what to do next? New to the area so can't ring friends to come and help. Now wondering if I should have flat out refused delivery but well....needed a fridge!

Edit for clarity: fridge is delivered in the entrance, it needs to go upstairs where the kitchen is
