did the missing persons report lead to his downfall at mcdonald’s?
someone mentioned in the other subreddit (that i’m banned from for something silly)a theory where luigi thought the police were there for him at mcdonald’s due to the missing persons report, not the shooting.
definitely got me thinking and i can’t stop thinking about it.
to me, his outburst when he got to the altoona jail would align more with this - that he was clearly being apprehended for the wrong reason. maybe he witnessed the cops planting evidence on him or doing something sketchy which obviously put him into a panic.
let’s say he was in NYC doing whatever (hence the taxi photo), and then somehow got tipped off about the missing persons report and/or the private investigator his mom hired, got spooked and decided to move on from NYC —> leads to him passing through Pennsylvania.
cops come to mcdonald’s and he thinks they’re there for missing LM, not suspected CEO shooter LM. he wants to remain “missing”, so he gives his fake ID and then shit hits the fan…
to me, his demeanor in court aligns well with this theory. i don’t see someone who is living with the fact that he allegedly murdered someone. instead, he looks like he knows he has a solid alibi but unfortunately has no other choice but to spend the next couple years of his life dealing with this in court which is obviously depressing.
thoughts? am i crazy? lol
