Game refuses to load with DLC installed.

I downloaded the DLC and booted up my old save, but when I enter the shadow realm, the screen I get stuck on never moves the little bar in the bottom right. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, and all my other saves work fine, but this one is seemingly permanently stuck. Did I just lose my save?
