Ex messages me on our anniversary after getting into a new relationship 4 months after our 5 and half year long relationship ended

I just don't understand how she doesn't get how selfish it is to message me on our anniversary after months of no contact and being with someone else. I feel like I'm being gaslit to the max for being upset about it but I would love everyone's opinion on this.
