Will I get banned on steam for this?

I pirated half life alyx from steamrip today and it requires I add it to my steam library to launch steam vr which is pretty straightforward but the issue comes when I run it, when I push play it runs the actual version of the game from steam not the cracked one I installed and I fear that because of this steam will recognize I don’t own it and ban my steam account. I am new to pirating so don’t shame me if this a dumb question cuz I know it probably is but I just wanna make sure cuz I have a decent amount of games on my acc.
