One thing I appreciate about the latest One Hit Wonderland
In the Bad Day video, he starts with a little preamble about how there are very few true one-hit wonders (someone who went to #1 and never had another song crack the Hot 100), and if you get one top 10 hit you're almost guaranteed to get something else on the back end of the charts just from sheer momentum. I always get tired when someone makes a suggestion for an episode on this sub and some nerds pop up and go "🤓Um actually they're technically not a one-hit wonder because they had this other song that peaked at #87 for one week in 1992🤓" No one cares, and you wouldn't have known that if you hadn't looked it up.
