Which book series,in your opinion,don’t hold up anymore?

Series that don’t get mentioned as frequently as they used to or are just not as good, in your opinion,as the ones that are coming out recently. It could be book series that died shortly after the hype made by booktubers for instance.

I think book series that I don’t see mentioned anymore are:

1) Penryn and the end of days (Angelfall is book one)

2) Poison study (poison study is book 1) this was all over booktube, I gave the first book 4 stars. It had serious content warning that I haven’t heard any booktuber talk about during that time. The second book was terrible and employed the same horrific trigger warnings that the first book had for shock value.It was just a no from me.

3) The darkest minds (The darkest minds is book 1) I’ve seen this book series read by someone on this sub just recently! I totally forgot about it until I saw it on that post.

4) The Remnant chronicles (The kiss of deception is book one) I gave the first book 3 stars and couldn’t careless to check the other books in the series. This series died after the hype it got.
