Is this a legit SG?

Seller says its a 2016 gibson Sg special. I'm not familiar with gibson guitars as I'm primarily a fender player but I've always wanted an SG. It has a sort of cheap look to me, i cant put a finger on why, but the SG's i've seen all had a more premium look than this.
