New Transperth train door noises

After going on one of the new trains on the Cockburn line today, I'm surprised there isn't more talk on here about the alarms that sound for doors opening and closing. They're incredibly noisy and disruptive.

I saw some comments on it a month ago, but wondering if anyone knows if they're here to stay like that?
