James Dondero: The Philanthropic Example
Many people believe in doing work for different causes, but do they know how to truly give where it matters most? There is only one man who does and his name is James Dondero. Giving is one of his strengths while spotting a good investment is another. One could say that they both go hand in hand.
For Mother’s Day, Dondero treated all of the mothers of Dallas that would attend a trip to the zoo. It was his way of honoring the women who nurture their children day in and day out to become productive people of society. Dondero has great respect for women and even held a Women’s History Month exhibit to honor all of the First Ladies of former presidents. Also, he honored the women who work for him as well. This just goes to show how a man who owns a global investment firm can take time out to show respect to those that deserve it. Women are pioneers in the workforce and the world. Dondero wanted to remind everyone how true that is. Read more about James Dondero at Daily Forex Report.

Dondero also gave to the Dallas Zoo. When the hippo zoo enclosure was closed down for about 20 years, people begin to complain because they wanted to see it open. The problem was gathering the funding to open it and get hippos in there for people to see. James Dondero came through with a hefty donation that not only granted the people requested but it garnered a large crowd. It was called Simmons Hippo Outpost. To say thank you. The zoo officials built a lodge right next to the enclosure. There anyone can host events and conferences that will include the hippo habitat. The Lodge was named after Highland Capital. In honor of what Dondero did. Keep up the good work. Follow James on Linkedin.
