Wes Eden’s Continues To Build Up The Philanthropic Aspects Of Fortress Investment Group
Wes Edens started up Fortress Investment Group as an alternative investment firm with two partners, Rob Kauffman and Randal Nardone. The trio only had a few hundred millions dollars of funds to start off the investment company, which is not a whole lot by industry standards. Today, Fortress Investment Group handles assets for more than a thousand investors worldwide and manages more than 40 billion dollars in assets for all their clients. Wes oversees hundreds of employees working at Fortress Investment at various locations around the country today and continues to recruit new talented professionals as part of the financial team every year.
Fortress Investment Group was able to overcome the odds of dominating the investment industry despite the many competitors in the market today. When Fortress investment Group first started up, Wes Edens and the other founders were unsure of what direction the company would take. After climbing to assets surpassing 1 billion dollars within a couple of years, Fortress Investment Group was finally a sure thing and would continue growing every single year all the way up until today. Fortress Investment is likely to see new growth in the coming years as well with two of the original founders still in place at the company today. Wes Edens still has big plans for Fortress Investment on top of the many other entrepreneurial projects he is partaking in, including the Brightline Train system.
Wes Edens has focused on expanding his work as an entrepreneur as well as Fortress Investment Group’s hand in his philanthropic projects. The Brightline Train system that Wes Edens is funding to be built throughout Florida. Once construction is complete in Florida and the Brightline system is working as intended, it is scheduled to be built in several other locations, with Chicago and Dallas on the beginning of the list.
