Do i return this?

Hi. I just took off all my King Gizz vynils off the wall for the first time because I was going to paint it. I decided to check them out -- i paid good money after all -- and i noticed the vynil is all covered in blue stuff. Is this a mistake? I only see the cover on the wall, and i don't plan on listening to it, but this surely decreases its discogs value.
