2011 Jetta SE 2.5 (stalling after start)

About a week or so ago my car started stalling upon start. After a try or two it would come on. Then it stopped working and I’d have to give it some gas to get it to stay on. Now it’s just completely hit or miss if it wants to stay running. It was low on oil, so I topped that up. No lights on dash other than the battery light that comes on when it stalls. No knocking in engine. Battery voltage seems good.

Any ideas? I have a very basic understanding of cars - nothing crazy. The most I’ve done is change an alternator.
