online meeting privacy

Newbie. Wanted to host some english/spanish language meetups but given the politically charged environment in the US, I am concerned that folks will not participate due to raid concerns. So, if we went to meet online, is this an adequate protection of location of participants?

  • Download TOR. Don't use TOR for anything other than your 'private account' needs or anonymous web browsing needs. Don't access your normal accounts in TOR.
  • Use Tor to create Proton Mail private email account for just language meetup emails.
  • Meetups use Jitsu meet - link will be sent via your new private email acct. You can use a regular browser for the meeting. Use TOR for the meeting

And then send them https://www.privacyguides.org/es/ as a reference.

Thank you for any feedback.
